Updates from Compliance:

769 Main St- RENT SOURCE- Banner/sign attached to a house. Contacted the owner, HE is a Real Estate Agent advertising for renters. He was advised to contact Gia for an application for the sign. He was told he could leave it up as he applied for a permit. He contacted Gia. Banner/sign has been removed.

100 Broadway- JIFFY LUBE - complaint of a large dog balloon advertising the business. We checked the location, and the balloon was removed.

18 FREMONT ST- VOTE NO TAX OVERRIDE - sign removed from a city tree pit.

888 EASTERN AVE- Check for possible unauthorized sign. Nothing showing.

283 SALEM ST- YOUR COFFERY - Window signs installed without a permit and/or approval of the Sign Design. Violation notice left with owner; she was advised to contact Gia.

431 CHARLES ST- NOMAD BARBERSHOP - Checked to make sure the sign was reduced in size as per approval from the October 2025 meeting.

290 FERRY ST- COSMETIC DENTISTRY IN MALDEN - Signs installed without a permit and/or approval. Spoke with office personnel and advised them to contact Gia.

The following designs were considered for approval:

1. The Committee reviewed a sign application from Pro Car Sound & Security located at 267 Broadway. Everton Souza Business Owner & Rafael Silva Sign Company were present. The Committee voted to approve the sign. Motion was made by Alex Pratt, Seconded by Yem Lip 4 Yea 0 Nay

2. The Committee reviewed a sign application from V.I.P Auto Group located at 189 Eastern Ave. Gabriel Garcia from Cigoto Sign company was present. The Committee voted to approve the sign. Motion made by Nelson Miller Seconded by Alex Pratt 4 Yea 0 Nay

3. The Committee reviewed a sign application from Arrive Malden located at 14 Summer St. Joseph Buchotz Jr representing the business was present. The Committee voted to approve the sign. Motion made by Alex Pratt. Seconded by Nelson Miller. 4 Yea 0 Nay

4. The Committee reviewed a sign application from Ronori Beauty located at 70 Summer St. Ed Spinney from Signart was present. The Committee voted to approve the sign. Motion made by Nelson Miller Seconded by Alex Pratt 4 Yea 0 Nay

5. The Committee reviewed a sign application from FW Webb Company located at 869 Eastern Ave. Ed Spinney from Signart was present. The pole sign and Wall Sign were approved. The Committee voted to approve the signs. Motion made by Alex Pratt Seconded by Nelson Miller 4 Yea 0 Nay

6. The Committee was unable to review the application from Wing Stop located at 44 Boradway. No one was present for the meeting.
