1. Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at approximately 4:00 PM.

5. Emergency Management Grant (EMPG) Update

Elaina Savino provided an update on the emergency management grant application. The application was completed and submitted prior to the June 1 deadline with assistance from MEMA and submitted by John on behalf of the committee.

Elaina noted that this year's grant program differs significantly from previous EMPG grants and includes more restrictive eligibility requirements. Funding may only be used for activities and equipment directly related to emergency management and cannot support police, fire, or other departmental operations. Matching funds are also subject to stricter guidelines.

Committee members agreed to continue discussing potential eligible purchases and develop a spending plan by July, pending grant approval.
